During the course, you will explore the characteristics of specific learning difficulties such as ADHD, ADD, dyslexia and dyscalculia. Learning focuses on understanding how these conditions may present differently in children and adults, and how individual experiences and needs can vary. You will also learn about the importance of early identification and the different assessment methods used to diagnose specific learning difficulties.

To study this course, you must provide one of the following forms of identification: Valid in-date passport (any nationality), Signed in-date UK photocard driving licence, UK biometric residence permit card, Birth certificate (BUT, if a birth certificate is presented as proof of identification, an additional form of identification such as a signed bank card, utility bill or a letter issued by a government department must also be provided).
