Reflecting on her achievement, Chloe said: “I am grateful to win the award. There were a lot of people who did well this year, and I’m happy to be the one recognised. My favourite thing was the teachers, they are always so helpful and go out of their way. Rhys Hawkins is the best teacher I’ve ever had; he goes out of his way for everyone and is the perfect example of what a teacher should be. There’s a great mix of practical and theory, and the way they plan the teaching is amazing. This award is my greatest achievement so far. I’m going into nursing to follow in my mum’s footsteps, she worked in a care home and I’ve always had that passion. If anyone has doubts about joining the college, there’s no reason to doubt, they always put in the most effort.”

Chloe’s resilience, compassion and academic excellence make her an outstanding ambassador for the college and a truly worthy Science Student of the Year.

Chloe's journey is an inspiring example of how dedication, resilience and a positive attitude can help you overcome challenges and achieve success. Balancing her studies with significant responsibilities at home, she has continued to excel academically while remaining focused on her ambition to pursue a career in nursing. Her compassion, strength of character and commitment to helping others make her an outstanding role model and a worthy recipient of the Science Student of the Year award.
