A Level 3 Diploma in Professional Cookery Studies student, Ashton has impressed tutors with his dedication, professionalism and passion for the hospitality industry. His outstanding attendance, positive attitude and commitment to developing his culinary skills have made him a valued member of the department.
Ashton also demonstrated his talent by securing second place in a recent inter-college cookery competition, showcasing his creativity, technical ability and composure under pressure. With work experience already secured in London, he is looking forward to building a successful career in hospitality and one day opening his own restaurant.
Ashton said: “I loved the staff and made many friends. After I get more experience, I want to open a restaurant. I am very proud to have won this award.”
