Course Overview
This course is ideal for anyone who wants to begin a career as cabin crew or work within airport and aviation ground operations. It is a combined programme that provides an introduction to both cabin crew roles and ground‑based aviation careers, giving you a broad understanding of the aviation sector and the opportunities available. If you dream of a career as cabin crew and travelling the world, this course offers valuable insight into airline training requirements and the day‑to‑day life of a crew member. Delivered by ex‑cabin crew professionals, learning takes place in classrooms and in our realistic aircraft cabin environment.
You will complete practical and written assessments that reflect those used by airlines during the recruitment process, helping you understand what to expect and how to prepare. The course is also suited to learners interested in ground operations roles at airports. You will learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment in aviation ground services, supporting progression into entry‑level roles or further training in the industry.
This course provides an excellent first step into the world of aviation, helping you build confidence, industry awareness and practical experience for future careers in cabin crew or airport operations.
To study this course, applicants are normally expected to be at least 17 years old, although each application will be considered individually. You should hold a Level 1 qualification or four GCSEs at grade 3/D or above, which must include English and Maths. Alternative qualifications may be considered and can be discussed with a tutor during the application process.
As this course reflects airline and aviation industry standards, there are additional requirements. Learners must be over 5 feet 2 inches tall, although this may vary depending on airline requirements. Visible tattoos and facial piercings must be kept to a minimum, as some airlines do not permit them.
A high standard of personal appearance is expected at all times, with hair kept neatly tied back to meet safety requirements. Learners will be required to wear smart business attire throughout the course, reflecting professional aviation expectations.
