Level 1 Certificate in Caring For Children

This Level 1 Certificate is a great starting point if you are interested in beginning a career working with children in early years or primary education settings. The course helps you understand what it’s really like to work in childcare and prepares you for the responsibilities involved in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. 

You will explore the roles and responsibilities of childcare practitioners, learn about child development, safeguarding, health and safety, and develop the professional behaviours expected when working with children.
